Piedmont is heaven for golfers. With more than 40 clubs across the region, the requirements of all level of golf proficiency can be met.

Five of the ten courses considered the best in Italy are located here. Within a short range of Baur B&B there are four clubs to suit your needs.

40 kilometers (25 miles) from Acqui Terme is Golf Club Margara, 27 holes: 9 holes, Par 36, 3,249 meters; 9 holes, Par 36, 3,069 meters; 9 holes, Par 36, 3,175 meters. Hilly but not difficult. Suitable for players of all ages and handicaps. Course is not very long, but very technical. Beautifully maintained club. Often used as the Host club for the European Challenge Open. 36 kilometers (20 miles) from our bed and breakfast is Golf Colline del Gavi, 18 holes, Par 73, 6,380 meters; 9 holes Executive, Par 31, 1,895 meters. Set amidst the beautiful Cortese wine hills synonymous with Gavi di Gavi DOCG, Colline del Gavi is a typical countryside golf club. The course is well designed and suitable for players of any level. Golf Club Villa Carolina, approximately 28 kilometers (16 miles) from Baur B&B, is an 18 hole course, Par 72, 6,274 meters. Located in the hilly region near the Ligurian border, its hilly pathway was designed by Brian Silva, and can require precise and demanding play. Full service restaurant and facilities.

For a quick and easy golf game, our guests can drive one kilometer straight down the hill to Golf Club le Colline in Acqui. 9 holes: 6 holes par 3, 890 meters; 3 holes par 4, 940 meters. The course is well suited for novices, but can be tricky due to its many trees and small lakes. Full service restaurant and facilities.
