Food and Festivals

Acqui Terme and its surrounding villages are teaming with restaurants, delicatessens, cafes and outdoor markets.

Internationally known for its native White Truffle (around which the Annual Truffle Fair in Alba is based), Piedmont also boasts a vast assortment of local cheeses, salami, pastas, pastries and other specialties to delight the palate. Proximity to the Mediterranean provides Acqui with a wide array of fresh seafood, brought in daily.

CHEESE — The International Cheese Festival in Bra (Langhe) - to be held in September 2009

SALONE DEL GUSTO — The International Food Festival in Torino - to be held in September 2010

Acqui Terme PRO LOCO FESTIVAL — Held every September, a street fest of local food producers from surrounding villages and towns.

Nizza Monferrato BARBERA FESTIVAL — Held every May, this is a street fair for the local producers of Barbera d'Asti

There are dozens of restaurants within a half our of our B&B, ranging from very simple to some of the best restaurants in Italy. We will be happy to share our list, make your reservations for you and listen to you complain that there is simply too much good food in this region!
