Cooking Classes
During your stay at our B&B, we can arrange Piemontese cooking classes in our kitchen. We renovated the space from a stall which was built in the late 1800's and kept as many of the original details as possible. To the original space we have added a professional oven, a large island for working together, shelves of marble and brick. It is a wonderful atmosphere in which to work and share.
I give cooking classes which include Piemontese specialties as well as recipes from my own Emilia-Romagna heritage -- the recipes my grandparents brought with them to America when they left Parma almost a hundred years ago.
Depending on the time of year, our programs include market tours, cooking with porcini mushrooms, truffles, artichokes, hazelnuts and the many local cheeses of the region.
Classes need to be planned in advance, so let us know when you book if you are interested.
